WINDOWS OF OPPORTUNITY

Windex partnered with Jacksonville School District #117 to highlight the significant role that windows play in enhancing student well-being and academic performance. As part of this initiative, the project explored how natural light, visibility, and the design of learning environments contribute to better educational outcomes.

Jamie Cosgriff of Graham & Hyde Architects was featured as the project’s lead architect, offering valuable insight into how thoughtful window placement and architectural design strategies can create brighter, more engaging, and healthier school environments. Jamie discussed how, throughout the Jacksonville School District’s recent school improvement projects, particular emphasis was placed on daylighting, views to the outdoors, and energy efficiency—goals that align closely with Windex’s campaign to promote cleaner, more effective use of glass in learning spaces.

This collaboration not only spotlighted the connection between architecture and student success but also demonstrated how public-private partnerships can support better educational design. Check out the entire project campaign with videos and statistics at Windex.
