Graham and Hyde Architects has been actively working with Ball-Chatham C.U.S.D. #5 since 2003. We have successfully completed more than fifty projects, including a recent $35M, three phase program. The combined phases consisted of three building additions and over thirty separate renovation projects.
Chatham-Glenwood High School Addition
This 16 classroom, 25,350 sf single-story addition was designed and developed to accommodate the increasing population of the Ball-Chatham School District. Details from the existing adjacent 2-story classroom building were incorporated into the addition to provide a seamless fit with the facility. Building features include a high-performance building envelope, LED lighting, and 15 well geothermal system.
Ball Elementary School Addition
5,400 sf classroom and administration office addition, demolition of existing 2-story building.
Glenwood Intermediate School Addition
10,500 sf administration office addition including new commons area and meeting spaces.
District Wide Renovations
Renovations at all five (5) District buildings included restroom renovations, drive and parking lot renovations, new HVAC systems, roof replacement, exterior masonry wall restoration, window replacement, flooring replacement, field house renovation, kitchen renovations, administration office renovations, shop renovation and new playgrounds.
