When St. Patrick Church of Merna in Bloomington, Illinois needed a long range master plan, they called Graham & Hyde Architects. A multi-phase construction plan was created that included a new 1,250-seat worship space, parish center, multi-use spaces and offices.
Phase one included parish offices and a parish school of religion education space. The new worship space constructed in phase two provided much needed new capacity for the Church’s fast growing suburban parish. Also included was a 100-seat chapel. All work was designed to blend with the definitive architectural forms of the existing 400-seat worship center.
