With over 35 years of experience transforming interior spaces, Kris brings a wealth of expertise to her role as leader of G&H’s Interiors Team. Her childhood passions for art, composition, and mathematics led her to earn a BS in Interior Design from Illinois State University in 1990. Prior to joining Graham & Hyde Architects, she honed her skills with national architectural firms and founded KSID Interiors, Inc. in 2006.
As a Registered Interior Designer and NCIDQ (National Council Interior Design Qualification) professional, Kris is a former President of the Illinois IIDA Chapter, demonstrating her commitment to both education and leadership within the field. She specializes in creating functional and creative spaces for diverse project types, including education, healthcare, workplaces, and hospitality. Kris's focus remains on understanding and meeting her clients' needs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for designing spaces that truly support the people who use them.
Beyond design, Kris enjoys spending time with family and friends and exploring the world through travel, with a cappuccino in hand.
